‘Microblogging money’
Dr Newby has been with the Bank of Finland since 2010, where she led the Market Operations Division, overseeing Finland’s execution of the Eurosystem’s monetary policy. She held positions as a College Lecturer in Economics and Fellow at Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge. Dr Newby was awarded her PhD from the University of St Andrews. She will give a presentation on the topic, ‘Microblogging money’.
This seminar will also welcome Dr Ikka Korhonen, Head of Research at the Bank of Finland.
The seminar is part of the 2023-2024 series organised by the University of St Andrews Business School Department of Finance.
